A
simple cambelt change on a Ferrari
is not so simple, especially on 348, 355 and Testarossa models.
These require the engine to be removed. This is carried out
by lowering the engine, transmission and suspension (all mounted
to the subframe ) on to a special cradle; effectively stripping
the rear of the car! This is just one example of the many (
expensive ) quirks which make Ferraris
so special.
